Iran Press/ Iran news: The governor-general of Sistan and Baluchestan province, receiving the Pakistani Economic board on Thursday in Zahedan, southeast of Iran, Ahmad Ali Mouhebati referred to the common cultural, religious, historical, and economic grounds and said that the expansion of ties could prepare the ground for economic ties between Iran's Sistan and Balouchestan province and Pakistan's Baluchestan state.
He said that investments on Pakistan's Gwadar Port and Iran's Chabahar Port as two complementary ports could be beneficial in the economic ties between Iran and Pakistan, Iran Press reported.
"Foreigners never want Islamic countries like Iran and Pakistan to advance and they try to create division and instability through anti-security measures," Mouhebati noted.
Reza Balouch, the head of the Pakistani economic board and the supervisor of Baluchistan State's Customs, said that there are good potentials to expand the two countries' ties, which should be considered.
Balouch also stressed that the two countries' must make efforts to remove the border problems.
