The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Islamabad and the Spokesman for Foreign Affairs of Pakistan discussed ways to develop bilateral relations, in particular, increasing interactions between the two country's Foreign Ministry spokesman's offices.

Iran Press/Asia: Mohammad Ali Hosseini, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Islamabad, and Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry, Spokesman for Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, met on Tuesday to discuss ways to develop bilateral relations and regional and international affairs.

Hosseini praised the principled stance of Islamabad in support of Iran's nuclear program and the anti-sanctions stance of the Pakistani Prime Minister, referring to the failed US actions against the Iranian people to reinstated the UN Security Council sanctions resolutions.

The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad also stressed the need for stability in defending the Palestinian cause.
