The Commander of Iran's Navy stressed on strengthening military relations and bilateral cooperation in the maritime field with Pakistan.

Iran PressAsia: Rear Admiral Shahram Irani,Commander of Islamic Republic of Iran Navy, who has traveled to Pakistan at the head of a high-ranking military delegation, said: "The Navy of Iran and Pakistan have good interactions in the field of training, defense and maritime cooperation, as well as joint exercises."

Rear Admiral Irani expressing his satisfaction with the current level of relations between the two sides' navies, announced the holding of a multinational exercise with the participation of Iran, China, Russia and Pakistan at the end of this year.

Iran's progress in the field of defense production, especially in the field of maritime security, has been announced as one of the other axes of dialogue between the officials of the Iranian and Pakistani navies.

Rear Admiral Shahram Irani, Commander of Islamic Republic of Iran Navy, received the invitation ofMuhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, the Commander of the Pakistan Navy, to visit this country with the aim of increasing security cooperation and combating maritime terrorism against countries that are unjustifiably present in the region.

The Commander of the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran met with the Commander of the Pakistani Army Syed Asim Munir on Monday and discussed the strengthening of defense-military relations between the two neighboring countries. 219
