Iran Press/ Europe: The Iranian national beach soccer team faced Russia in the semi-finals of the second round of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) on Tuesday evening and secured a 4-4 draw. In the penalty shoutouts, Iran defeated the opponent and advanced to the final match of the competition.
The final of the second round of CIS will be held today (Wednesday) in Minsk, and the Iranian national beach soccer team will play against Belarus, the host of the competition.
Iran's national beach soccer team was in group one of the second round of CIS in Minsk with the teams of Belarus, the United Arab Emirates, and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The 2nd CIS Games is underway in Belarus from 4 to 14 August 2023.
