Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has warned that Iran may still reduce its commitments further under the nuclear agreement know as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking at the conference on government achievements in rural infrastructure development here in Tehran on Monday, President Hassan Rouhani said: "Even though we have reduced our commitments under JCPOA in two phases, we may still reduce our commitments further. However, we always give a two-month 'window of opportunity' between each step so that diplomacy has a chance to work."

"As we reduce our obligations under the agreement (JCPOA), we also retaliate against the actions of the parties concerned," Rouhani reiterated.

President Rouhani went on to say: "We accept that the enemies are pressuring our nation, we resist to achieve our goals, interests, security, dignity and greatness," he said, adding that our people's desire is for dignity, honour and independence. Let's get there. We do not get tired of this, we enjoy it and of course we use all the tools at our disposal to solve problems."
