Iran Press/ Iran News: Fifteen active businessmen and traders involved in agriculture in Muranga County, Kenya, including two members of the County Assembly, visited some production and industrial units in Kashan, Aran, and Bidgol on Tuesday night.
Bahauddin Hosseini, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, who participated in the meeting, said: "The two sides stressed cooperation to exchange economic activities."
"The Kenyan delegation also had talks with some activists in the private sector in Kashan, which will lead to a contract in the near future," he added.
The head of the Kenyan delegation, emphasizing that his country's trade with Iran can be expanded in all areas, added: "The Kenyan delegation consisting of traders active in tea and coffee production, expressed their interest in cooperating with Kashan merchants."
Kenyan businessmen invited Kashani merchants to visit the country.
