Iran Press/ Iran news: Mohammad Ali Mirtaheri, referring to the situation of Iran in the latest ranking of the Global Innovation Index (GII) said: "Iran is currently the second most innovative industry in the region, with a growth of 7 steps compared to last year. It also is one of the middle-income countries that have the highest branches of science and technology.
He added: "The most innovative industries in Iran are chemistry, medicine, and mechanics, which have the most national and international patent applications in Iran. Iran has also made significant progress in nanotechnology, robotics, and stem cells."
