Iran Press/ Middle East: The MoU was signed in the presence of Iraq's PM, Mohammed Shia' Al-Sudani, the Minister of Petroleum of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Javad Owji, and his Iraqi counterpart.
In this MoU, which was signed in the office of Iraq's PM, it was also decided that the Islamic Republic of Iran would participate seriously in the petrochemical industry and the training of Iraqi oil ministry personnel.
At the invitation of his Iraqi counterpart, Owji traveled to Baghdad to meet the Iraqi Minister of Electricity separately and signed an MoU to increase the sale and export of gas needed for Iraqi power plants in Baghdad and the south of the country.
