Tehran (IP) - The head of Iran’s National Archives and Library emphasized more interaction with European countries especially France by creating a common understanding.

Iran Press/Iran News: Ashraf Boroujerdi in an exclusive interview with Iran Press said: Iran has long-standing cultural relations with France and has close ties in various fields of thoughts, culture, academic and book exchange and the purpose of these cultural interactions has been to convey the message to the two nations of Iran and France that the cultural exchanges between the countries should not be broken and that the countries can help each other within a common understanding.

Noting that Iran has many copies of French books, the head of the National Archives and Library added that during the meeting with the French Ambassador Philippe Thiebaud, the envoy emphasized on the two countries' interactions through book exchanges, and if more books from France are donated to the National Library, more assistance will be provided to the country in the field of science and knowledge.

Boroujerdi also stated that the meeting will help to establish a connection between the new generation of Iran and France, and to better understanding the realities of the world.
