Tehran(IP)- The first international and the fifth national conference to explain the defense thoughts of the Islamic Revolution's Leader was held on Feb.27, 2023.

Iran PressIran news: Attending the ceremony, Hojjatul Islam Ali Asghar Sadri, the Head of the Executive Staff of the conference said that defense was not just defined in a military context and it could be considered as a form of defense in the economic, health, and medical fields by cutting off the country's dependence on the outside.

Sadri stressed that such a concept must be understood by all members of society and turned into a culture. Highlighting the presence of foreign countries at the event, he said that 13 countries announced their readiness to participate in this conference from scientific and academic societies.

Iraq, Azerbaijan, Russia, China, Syria, Venezuela, and Japan as well as some European countries such as England and France are among the countries that will take part in the conference.

Sadri added that 25 foreign articles were received, of which the top 16 articles would be presented, and eleven issues of the scientific and defense quarterly have been published on the theme of the conference, with the top articles being collected in 12 book volumes.

Also, so far 27 reference book titles have been collected from 19 components explaining the defense thoughts of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei.

Regarding the themes of the conference, Sadri stated that the conference will be held with 19 themes and 100 topics, noting that among the topics of this conference are soft war, defense diplomacy, intellectual capital, defense science and technology, knowledge-based defense, foresight, infiltration and countering it, spiritual empowerment, resistance economy, foundations and principles and dimensions of the Second Step of the Revolution Statement, the role of the Islamic Revolution in the decline of the US.
