Iran Press/ Middle East: Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Beirut Thursday night to meet with Lebanese officials as well as to express Iran's solidarity and empathy with the Lebanese people and government. He was welcomed by his Lebanese counterpart, Charbel Wehbe.
Zarif is set to meet with top Lebanese officials to discuss the latest developments in Lebanon after the recent deadly explosion in Beirut.
The blast has so far killed more than 170 people and injured over 6,000, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
