Iran Press/America: At a multilateral Baghdad meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York on Tuesday, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stated that foreign intervention had hindered convergence in the West Asian region.
"To create stability and security in the region, we need endogenous and indigenous security arrangements; foreign presence and intervention in any form are contrary to the goals of peace and security in the region and the independence and sovereignty of the regional countries," he added.
He said the priority of the new Iranian administration is to strengthen and develop relations with neighbors and the region.
