Iran Press/ Asia: Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Brunei Darussalam, Homeira Rigi handed over the masks to the representatives of these charities.
In a speech she said: “The verse 195 of Surah Al-Baqarah, expresses the social truth that charity in general save society from any calamity and suffering and will leads the society towards prosperity. In the Holy Quran, benevolence and charity have been commanded 194 times in more than 80 verses”.
She added: “I am glad that this opportunity was provided today and on behalf of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Brunei Darussalam in an effort towards Comprehensive cooperation to combat the coronavirus pandemic and to support charitable culture and help others, I present the complete package of Iranian-made Nano masks to JIWAKU IKHLAS and AL HAQI chariteis”.
She mentioned: “The Islamic Republic of Iran is among the top 4 countries in the world in nanotechnology. During the global response to the outbreak of the coronavirus, the knowledge-based companies of the Islamic Republic of Iran were able to help combat the COVID-19 pandemic by exporting nano-mask products to other countries.”
“I pray to Allah (SWT) to reward the efforts of frontliners both in this world and hereafter and I pray for the world especially the people of the two countries of Brunei Darussalam and the Islamic Republic of Iran to be free of this disease soon”.
The Jiwaku Ikhlas charity campaign organised by Kris Karmila Kreations is aimed at assisting families in need affected by the fire as well as those whose livelihood have been affected by the pandemic. To date, over 500 people have received assistance through this project.
AL HAQI charity has been active in Islamic Affairs and teachings for more than 20 years.
