Tehran (IP) - The head of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture reported the cooperation between Iran and Czech Repin rail transportation.

Iran PressIran news: Meeting with Czech Republic's ambassador to Tehran Josef Rychtar on Tuesday, Iran's Gholamhossein Shafei highlighted Iran's geopolitics as a north-to-south and east-to-west corridor and said the country wanted to put the modernization of railway transportation on its agenda.

Referring to the establishment of the Iran-Czech Joint commission by the Iran chamber of commerce, Shafei expressed hope that the same commission would be established in the Czech Republic and that the ground would be prepared for the establishment of joint chambers.  

Rychtar, for his part, pointed to the possibility of transferring his country's expertise of privatization to Iran.

He said the Czech Republic was ready to cooperate in producing pistachios in accordance with European standards and strengthening the market of Iran's products in the world.

In February, the head of the parliamentary friendship group between Iran and the Czech Republic and the ambassador of the Czech Republic in Tehran stressed the need to improve the level of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
