Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Sunday that COVID-19 had killed 198 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 79,939.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 30, 2021, 2,302,094 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,441,528 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 8,876 cases, out of whom 1,154 patients were hospitalized.

4,219 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICUs).

So far, 19,814,489 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 13 cities are red, 214 are orange, and 221 are yellow zones.

So far, 3,494,145 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 515,908 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 4,010,053 doses.
