Iran Press/ Asia: On the second day of the 48th session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Council of Foreign Ministers in Islamabad, Saeed Khatibzadeh stated: "The deceitful policies of the Zionist regime and its main supporter the United States in advancing the colonial policy of normalization of relations with Islamic countries have been welcomed by some organization's members, and this is a danger for those concerned about the unity and prosperity of the Islamic Ummah."
He said the return of all Palestinians to their ancestral lands and the formation of an independent Palestinian state with al-Quds as the capital, should continue to be a top priority and achieving this lofty goal should be the focus of all actions.
Khatibzadeh noted that the Palestinian people are still suffering from the continuing brutal occupation of their lands and are deprived of the most basic human rights.
The representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the 48th session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers called on the organization to stop the Zionist regime's infiltration into the Islamic world.
The 48th session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers was held on 22-23 March 2022 in Islamabad.
