Iran, Bulgaria look to shore up cooperation

Tehran (IP) - In a telephone conversation, the Foreign Ministers of Iran and Bulgaria stressed the need to expand cooperation between the two countries.

Iran PressIran news: In the conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Bulgarian Foreign Minister Svetlan Stoev stressed his country's readiness to expand relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Amir-Abdollahian expressed satisfaction with the increase in trade volume, expressing hope that Iran and Bulgaria trade would be further developed through joint efforts.

The establishment of a political advisory committee and joint economic commission, the start of direct flights between the two countries, and cooperation in the industrial, scientific, technology, and tourism, were among other topics discussed by the two foreign ministers.
