Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the Doha Forum to discuss regional developments and bilateral relations, according to a statement from Iran's Foreign Ministry.

Iran Press/West Asia: The high-level dialogue comes amid a series of diplomatic engagements by Araghchi. On Friday, the Iranian diplomat visited Iraq, where he met with his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al-Sudani, and President Abdul Latif Rashid.

During his visit to Baghdad, Araghchi also joined a trilateral meeting with the foreign ministers of Iraq and Syria. The talks concluded with a joint press conference, underscoring their shared commitment to addressing regional challenges and enhancing cooperation.

The ongoing discussions at the Doha Forum provide an opportunity for regional powers like Iran and Turkey to engage on critical issues affecting the Middle East, signaling a potential alignment on key geopolitical concerns.
