Iran Press/Asia: After meeting with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Mohammad Javad Zarif announced constructive consultations with senior Armenia officials on his Twitter account.
He noted: “Productive consultations with Armenian PM and FM. Reviewed common regional challenges & opportunities following the recent conflict. Agreed on further strengthening bilateral ties & regional cooperation - incl on connectivity projects: turning old rivalries into future synergies.”
Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif in continuation of his consultations with Armenian officials in Yerevan, met with the Prime Minister of Armenia "Nikol Pashinyan" on Wednesday.
Prior to his meeting with the Armenian Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister had two rounds of talks with the Armenian Foreign Minister, Ara Ayvazyan.
The Iranian Foreign Minister has traveled to Baku and Moscow on a regional tour in recent days, and after his consultations in Yerevan, will leave Armenia for Tbilisi today.
Zarif will travel to Ankara to meet with Turkish officials and hold bilateral consultations.
