Kabul (IP) - Iran's ambassador to Kabul announced that Kabul and Tehran are set to increase the volume of trade exchanges.

Iran PressAsia: In his Twitter account, Hassan Kazemi-Qomi noted on Thursday: "In the trip by Afghanistan’s caretaker of Commerce and Industry Ministry Nooruddin Azizi to Iran, fruitful talks have been made between the two sides to increase trade exchanges between Afghanistan and Iran for more benefit of both nations."

The special envoy of the Iranian president for Afghanistan also stated on his Twitter account: "The inauguration of the Khaf-Herat railroad, trade activities in Chabahar Port, and removal of obstacles of transit operation at border crossings have been the main topics of negotiations during the visit."

On his trip to Iran, the Afghan official visited Chabahar Free Trade-Industrial Zone to get acquainted with the investment capacities of the port city.
