Iran: 116 patients died of COVID-19 in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 116 patients had died of COVID-19 during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 83,217.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to June 22, 2021, 3,117,336 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,771,705 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 11,716 cases, out of whom 1,278 patients were hospitalized.

3,249 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 22,699,166 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 22 cities are red, 175 are orange, and 251 are yellow zones.

So far, 4,403,753 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 972,871 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 5,376,624 doses.
