Islamabad (IP) - At the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) Summit held in Islamabad on Wednesday Mohammad Atabak and Pakistan's Federal Minister of Commerce agreed to facilitate the trade ties between the two countries' businessmen.

Iran PressAsia: On the sidelines of the summit, Pakistan's Minister of Commerce Jam Kamal Khan and Mohammad Atabak, Iran's Minister of Mine discussed strengthening trade relations with a focus on industrial cooperation and cultural exchange. 

Jam Kamal Khan described the geographical importance of Pakistan and Iran and considered them as gateways for the development of the region. 

Mohammad Atabak, for his part, said that more opportunities will be explored in trade and investment between Pakistan and Iran and the provision of facilities to traders and investors as well as to remove trade barriers 

Iranian Minister Mohammad Atabak has also invited Jam Kamal Khan for a high-level visit to Iran.
