Tehran (IP): The Iranian Foreign Minister held a meeting with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia in Tehran to discuss the state of bilateral relations.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan has met with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian in Tehran to discuss the state of bilateral relations.

Amirabdollahian received Kostanyan at the Iranian Foreign Ministry on Saturday.

The Iranian minister stressed the importance of continuing joint efforts to strengthen cooperation between Iran and Armenia in various areas such as politics, economy, trade, science, and culture.

Amirabdollahian maintained that developing all-out relations between the two countries would help promote “sustainable” peace and security in the region without foreign interference.

Kostanyan, for his part, conveyed the greetings of Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan to his Iranian counterpart and presented a report about his discussions with Iran’s deputy foreign minister. 204
