Iran Press /Iran News: In a message to Ali Larijani, President of the Inter-Parliamentarian Union (IPU) Gabriela Cuevas Barron on April 3 expressed concern over Ali Larijani’s health after his diagnostic test for COVID-19 was positive and wished him to become well soon.
She also expressed her solidarity with all members of Parliament, adding, “Together we can defeat the Coronavirus.”
Formerly the speakers of Russian, Syrian parliaments, and Pakistani-Iranian parliamentary friendship group wished Ali Larijani well by sending separate messages.
Iranian parliament speaker Ali Larijani has tested positive for COVID-19, parliament's department of public relations announced in a statement on Thursday, April 2.
Following the detection of some symptoms of Coronavirus in Larijani, he was tested for coronavirus and is currently under quarantine and treatment due to positive COVID-19.
