Iran Press/ Iran news: Ahmad Vahidi told Iran Press on Wednesday on the sidelines of the cabinet session that the ministry pursues the preparation of the grounds for the next elections in the country, including the necessary training for the organizers, since it is the most important event in the current year.
Vahidi said that a plan was finalized by the administration and submitted to the parliament, adding: "A plan is under investigation in the parliament, and we are waiting for the result to determine whether it will become a law or not."
Telling Iran Press that according to the new law, there will be differences in the polling process, the minister said that based on the former law some resignations must be done 6 months before the election but now it has been reduced to 3 months.
