Middle East (IP) - The Imam of Al-Aqsa Mosque emphasized that Israel's attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque aligns with its temporal and spatial division.

Iran PressWest Asia: According to Iran Press on Sunday, quoted by Sama news agency, Sheikh Ikrima Sabri, the Imam of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, said in a statement that the attack and invasion of the Israeli invaders and settlers on Al-Aqsa Mosque during Jewish holidays ignited the flame of religious war and an attempt to realize the goals of the Israeli regime in the temporal and spatial division of this sacred place.

This morning, the Israeli settlers attacked the Al-Aqsa Mosque under the support of the Israeli regime's security agents and soldiers on the occasion of the so-called "first day of the Hebrew year".

Previously, the spokesperson of Hamas in occupied Al-Quds warned against the widespread desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Israeli settlers during the Hebrew holidays and asked the Palestinians in the West Bank, Al-Quds, and the occupied territories to pile up their presence in the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the coming day to Support it against the attack of the settlers.

The spokesman of Hamas said: "The occupying regime of Al-Quds has left the extremist settlers free to wreak havoc in Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque by performing Talmudic rituals."

According to Hammadeh, the occupying regime of Al-Quds declares a religious war and does not want anything Palestinian to remain in Al-Quds, whether it is a mosque or a church, while it continues its encroachments on Al-Quds and desecration of free women.

He also said that no one can allow the encroachments of the occupiers and settlers on Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque to go unanswered.

At the same time, Hamadeh stressed the need to seize the opportunity from the occupiers and disrupt their sinister plans to encroach on the Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque by continuing the resistance march until the liberation of the entire occupied Palestinian land.

Earlier, the extremist groups of the settlers known as Heikal had called for a massive attack on the Al-Aqsa Mosque during the three Hebrew holidays that began on September 17 (today 26 Shahrivar) and continued until mid-October.
