Iran Press/ Iran News: Kish is a resort island in Bandar Lengeh County, Hormozgān Province, off the southern coast of Iran in the Persian Gulf. Owing to its free trade zone status, the island is touted as a consumer's paradise, with numerous malls, shopping centers, tourist attractions, and resort hotels.
At the inauguration of the IFEEX 2021 exhibition, the Secretary of the Supreme Council of Free Trade-Industrial and Special Economic Zones, Saeed Mohammad, stated that Iran is one of the top countries in the world in terms of hydrocarbon reserves.
He said more than 100 investment opportunities have been identified in the free zones and called on investors to invest in all free trade and special zones.

IFEEX 2021 exhibition consists of 80 sectors and 125 investment companies, including 45 active knowledge-based companies with development capacity in energy, oil, gas, petrochemicals, and renewable energy in free trade and special economic zones present.
Kish Island is one of the most-visited vacation destinations in the Middle East, after Dubai and Sharm el-Sheikh. Tourists from many countries for which Iran typically requires a visa, who wish to enter Kish Free Zone, are exempt from having to obtain a visa. For those travelers, travel permits are issued on arrival by Kish officials and are valid for 14 days.
