Sattar Hashemi told Iran Press reporter on the sidelines of the cabinet session on Wednesday that the ministry firmly was pursuing technology diplomacy and that in his trip to Latin America, he signed several cooperation agreements.
Hashemi referred to a meeting held in Doha, the capital of Qatar, and said transit matters were discussed around the "Iran Corridor" theme, expressing hope that Iran would be on the path to becoming a regional hub soon.
Iran's technology diplomacy encompasses a range of topics, including technological development, the establishment of international communications, and international collaborations in various technological fields.
Given its geographical and economic position, Iran strives to leverage new technologies and foster cooperation with other countries in various areas of technology.
