Speaking at a ceremony held on the National Day of Space, February 3, Isa Zarepour said that the Islamic Republic was ranked 45th in the world formerly, but today it is among the top 10 countries of the world.
He said the current administration focused on space technology and said: that Iran's advancements in space technology would understand that their attempts would be futile since the Iranian nation is decisive in developing in the area.
"Being in space and getting accurate information can make us superior in all these fields and it can bring us productivity in agriculture, industry and electronics," Minister Zarepour said.
He called for the participation of the private sector in the aerospace industry and increasing the number of launches.
