Iran Press/ Iran news: Today, Sunday, December 17, 2023 corresponding to the third of Jumadi al-Thani, 1445 AH, is the anniversary of the martyrdom of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (pbuh), the beloved daughter of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the wife of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali bin Abi Talib (pbuh), the first Imam of the world's Shi'a Muslims.
According to Iran Press, last night, together with the people of this city, the mourning ceremonies were held in the courtyards of the Holy Shrine of the holy sister of Imam Reza(PbUH), on this heart-burning grief.
Since the early hours of the sad evening of yesterday, the mourning people of Holy Qom, have reached the holy shrine to mourn for demise of a holy mother.
Pilgrims and neighbors of Hazrat Masoumeh's shrine, peace be upon Her, shed tears of mourning by participating in the mourning rituals to condole the martyrdom of Hazrat Zahra (pbuh)
Groups of mourners from different parts of Qom city entered the shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (pbuh) and after offering condolences to her, they mourned for the martyrdom of Hazrat Zahra (pbuh) by chest beating, self-flagellation and chanting eulogies.
Also, the Holy Mosque of Jamkaran, was covered in black, and mourning rituals were held in these places with the participation of the devotees of The Prophet' s Progeny.
