Beirut (IP) – Lebanon’s Hezbollah announced on Tuesday that it had launched missiles targeting the Israeli military intelligence base in Glilot, located near Tel Aviv. The Lebanese resistance group said the attack was part of its ongoing operations against Israeli military targets.

Iran Press/West Asia: In a statement released by Hezbollah, the movement claimed to have fired multiple Fadi 4 rockets at the Glilot base, which is home to Israel’s elite Unit 8200, responsible for military intelligence and cyber operations. The base also houses the headquarters of Mossad, Israel’s national intelligence agency. According to Hezbollah, the strikes were aimed at crippling key Israeli intelligence infrastructure.

Strategic Importance of the Attack

Firing missiles at the vicinity of Tel Aviv carries significant military and psychological implications. Tel Aviv, the Israeli regime's largest city, is not only a major economic hub but also a center for military operations and intelligence. The Glilot base, in particular, plays a crucial role in gathering intelligence and coordinating security operations across the region. Targeting such a sensitive area sends a strong message about Hezbollah’s ability to strike deep within occupied territories and challenge its security apparatus.
