In a recent statement to the press, Mohammad Eslami, the Head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, clarified the recent media attacks regarding the increase in International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors in Iran, asserting that such measures are expected given the increased capacity of Iran’s nuclear program.

Iran Press/Iran news:  Mohammad Eslami, the Head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization emphasized that the push to increase inspections is a result of the regime’s actions, particularly Israel, which seeks to disrupt Iran’s nuclear program. “We continue our cooperation with the IAEA within the established framework,” Eslami stated.

He stressed that the increased surveillance is not a new development, and pointed out that the Zionist regime is attempting to stir global opposition to Iran’s nuclear program.

Referring to the recent resolution by the IAEA’s Board of Governors regarding Iran, Eslami reiterated that Iran’s relationship with the agency is governed by the safeguards agreement and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). “We have repeatedly addressed the IAEA’s uncertainties, and the issues raised are fabricated by the Israeli regime,” he added.

Eslami reassured that Iran's cooperation with the IAEA continues, with the agency always granted the necessary access. He emphasized that Iran has not and will not create obstacles for the agency's inspections.
