Iran Press/Middle East: The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) condemned the Zionist regime's aggression on Syria on Friday Morning, blaming the United States and Arab countries for the regime's aggression.
"This attack proves that the Zionist project has targeted the entire nation," said Hazem Qassem, a spokesman for the Resistance Movement, referring to the Zionist jet fighters' aggression against the Syrian soil.
"Occupiers' ruthless act is being fueled by bullying and coercion by the United States and the actions of some parties to normalize ties with the Zionists," Qasem said, according to Al-Mayadin.
Syria's official news agency reported on Thursday evening that the country's air defense was fighting hostile targets in Hama's skies.
Syrian state television said the Israeli warplanes were the targets. A security source told Al-Mayadin that Israeli fighter jets used Lebanese skies to attack four points in Syria and returned to their origins.
The Syrian government has repeatedly stated that the Israeli regime and its regional and Western allies support terrorist takfiri groups fighting the Syrian government.
The Syrian army has also repeatedly discovered Israeli weapons and ammunition shipments from terrorist groups in Syria.
