Seyyed Ammar Hakim, the leader of Iraq's National Wisdom Movement, met with Iran's ambassador to Baghdad, Mohammad Kazem al-Sadegh, early on Sunday to discuss the escalating political situation in the region, particularly the tensions in Gaza and Lebanon.

During their meeting, Hakim urged collective efforts to halt the war that he claims the Israeli regime is attempting to expand. He emphasized the urgent need to provide aid to displaced individuals and enhance humanitarian efforts in the affected areas.

Hakim called for convening meetings of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the Arab League, and other international organizations to exert pressure for an immediate cessation of hostilities. He stressed the importance of implementing international laws and resolutions concerning Israel's occupation.

"The time has come for a united response from Muslim nations against these aggressions," Hakim stated, highlighting that solidarity could lead to meaningful action and support for those suffering under occupation.

His remarks reflect a growing sentiment among leaders in the region who are calling for a unified approach to address ongoing conflicts and injustices faced by Palestinians.
