Iran Press/ Iran News: In response to Iran Press, Hadi Tahan Nazif said on Saturday that the Parliament’s decision on lifting restrictions on car imports had several ambiguities, including the currency transfer mechanism and Guardian Council asked Parliament to explain ambiguities.
Tahan Nazif noted: "The bill to permit car imports is to be sent back to the Parliament and its ambiguities are to be examined and resolved. After that, the ratification, it must be returned to the Guardian Council for review, and if approved by this council, it will be adopted as a law."
The next ambiguous point was the regulations that the Ministry of Mine, Trade, and Industry were responsible, allowed for in the bill.
The Expediency Council also considered the system of car imports permission to be inconsistent with policies of boosting Iranian production, labor, and capital, he added.
