Iran Press/ Iran News: In a press conference of the 35th International Conference on Islamic Unity, Hamid Shahriari stated that today's world is under the oppression of the United States and the domination of the arrogant world and creating many problems in the Islamic world and the Middle East.
Shahriari noted that many wars have started in Yemen, Palestine, Syria, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, and their oppressed people have been involved in these unwanted wars.
Condemning the Zionist regime in the Palestinian territories, he pointed out that the Palestinian people are under complete siege and have problems in their normal lives since the Zionist regime has prevented the formation of a just government for Palestine.
He also condemned the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime and warned the countries affiliated with the regime to reconsider their decisions, which would result in the overthrow of their government because of cooperating with Israel.
In response to Iran Press in the 35th Conference on Islamic Unity based on the results of the conferences, Hamid Shahriari stated: "This time the International Conference on Islamic Unity will be held to be a message to Islamic societies: Only through unity, Empathy, synergy, and cooperation, we can stand up to global arrogance."
Shahriari noted that the International Conference on Islamic Unity had played an influential role in sending the message of Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Revolution, and Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, to the world.
He highlighted that the intellectuals of other countries had realized the cultural and security level of the Islamic Republic of Iran by attending international conferences on Islamic unity.
"They have seen the level of tolerance of the Iranian nation and the right of citizenship for Sunnis and other religions in the country," he added.
He pointed out that Iran is a role model for the Islamic world that can explain and resolve disputes, avoid divisions and aggression, and bring security to the country.
The Press conference of the 35th International Conference on Islamic Unity entitled "Islamic Unity, Peace and Avoiding Division and Conflict in the Islamic World" was held with the attendance of the Secretary-General of The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Hamid Shahriari, on Saturday in Tehran.
The 35th International Conference on Islamic Unity will be held via webinar in Unity Week from 19th to 24th October with the participation of professors and intellectuals of Islamic countries.
