Iran Press/ Middle East: According to the Iran Press news agency, the secretary of the High Council for Human Rights, Kazem Gharibabadi, told the reporters in Baghdad, Iran's priority is to speed up the handling of the case of martyr Qasem Soleimani and Abul Mahdi Al-Muhandis and their companions.
Gharibabadi said that during his trip to Baghdad, the case of Martyr Soleimani will be seriously pursued and the indictment will be issued in Iran soon, and it is expected that Iraq will submit the indictment to the court as soon as possible so that all the perpetrators of the assassination of Martyr Soleimani and his companions will be tried.
He added that the fight against terrorist groups is another priority of Iran, which will be discussed with Iraqi officials, and the two countries have suffered a lot from the terrorist groups.
Kazem Gharibabadi said that it is necessary for Iran and Iraq to have good and close cooperation both at the level of national courts and at the level of international and human rights forums to deal with terrorist groups.
On the eve of issuing the indictment in the case of martyrs Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, Gharibabadi traveled to Iraq at the head of a judicial commission, and upon arrival in Baghdad, he attended the place where Qasem Soleimani and his comrades were martyred to pay homage.
