Iran Press/ Iran news: The discovery of mass graves of children in Canada has brought the country under pressure; the graves have belonged to the children of Canadian-indigenous who were separated from their parents during the 1890s to 1970s and were entrusted to the Catholic churches' boarding schools.
The main purpose of this project was to distance these children from indigenous Canadian communities, prevent the promotion of their mother tongue and traditions, and raise them based on the imposed Canadian standards.
Many of these children have lost their lives due to suicide, fires, hard work, rape, frostbite, and escape from school.
Following the recent news release on the discovery of the remains of another 93 innocent indigenous children in Canada, Kazem Gharibabadi tweeted:
"Underneath the soil, we step on lies the bodies of people who have sacrificed their precious lives during an imposed war whose money and weapons came from the West. Elsewhere in Canada, when you dig the grounds, you discover the remains of innocent indigenous children!
He concluded," The biggest threat to human rights comes from hypocrisy, politicization, and double standards.
