Iran Press/ Middle East: Hazim Qasem stated in an interview with Iran Press on the occasion of Gaza Day that the Islamic Republic stands by the Palestinian resistance and is a real supporter of the Palestinian cause. Iran's parliament has named January 19 'Gaza Day' in order to protect the resistance of the residents of the Gaza Strip in the 22-day war of 2008 against the Israeli regime.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is one of the main and real supporters of the Palestinian issue, the cause, and the rights of Palestinians in international bodies.
The spokesman of Hamas emphasized that naming a day as Gaza Day is Iran's adherence to its principled position on the Palestinian issue.
Hazim Qasem called the Arab countries to stand with the resistance and the Palestinian nation with courage and bravery like the Islamic Republic. The spokesman of Hamas also stated that the Israeli regime uses banned weapons to defeat the Palestinian resistance, but the resistance becomes stronger after every attack, and the best example of this is Operation al-Quds Sword, which shows that the Palestinian resistance has grown.
