Iran Press/Middle East: In the sermons of Friday prayers, Shaykh Yusuf Abu Siena, the imam of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, called on worshipers to adhere to health guidelines to stop the new wave of corona outbreaks.
The Quds Islamic Endowment Office had previously asked worshipers in their health instructions to come to the mosque wearing masks and special prayer rugs and to observe the social distance in order to prevent contracting coronavirus.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 3,485 people have been infected with the coronavirus in Palestinian territories as of Friday.
On June 5, the first Friday prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque was held after the mosque was temporarily closed due to the outbreak of corona.
