Tehran (IP) - The Facebook page of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting's (IRIB) Radio Bangla with 58K followers was blocked from Tuesday, May 25, 2022, without prior notice.

Iran PressIran News: Over the past years, Facebook — along with YouTube, Twitter, and Google have repeatedly targeted media outlets of Iran and the countries critical of the West and the Israeli regime’s occupation of Palestine.

During the past 10 years, Facebook has blocked the pages of IRIB World Service's Radio Bangla under whimsical pretexts.

Each time the pages were blocked the staff of Radio Bangla created new pages. During the years, the radio's page lost totally more than 500k followers.

The blockage shows that the activities of Radio Bangla, as the only Bangla media of Iran, and its coverage of the Resistance Front's developments are intolerable for the US and other arrogant powers of the world.
