Iran Press/ Iran news: Emphasizing that the western media use human rights as a political tool, Ali Baqeri Kani, the Secretary of the Human Rights Headquarters of the Iranian Judiciary, said when Iran's rights are spoiled, the special rapporteur on the human rights council and the United Nations is silent.
Baqeri said the western countries use human rights for their goals and interests, and it is an obvious right for a country to have the right to self-determination.
"While the Zionist regime occupying the land of Palestine, we see that the American interests defend this occupier regime and disregard the rights of the Palestinian people," he said.
"The European countries sell weapons to the Saudi regime to target Yemeni people and their infrastructures, but when it comes to the responsibility and answering the questions, they say that private security companies," Baqeri Kani noted.
About the racism that has been systematic and institutionalized in the west, Baqeri Kani said: "The U.S. President 'Donald Trump 'regrets its ineffective spending in West Asia, but does not say that U.S. intervention in the region has led to Millions of martyr, injured and homeless people in Yemen, Iraq, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran."
