Tehran (IP) - Iran's Energy Minister described President Rouhani's participation in the Eurasian leaders' summit in October, as a good starting point for the full-size involvement of the country's economy in Eurasian agreement.

Iran Press/Iran news: On the sidelines of the government cabinet meeting on Sept 4th, 2019, in Tehran in an interview with Iran Press, Iran's Energy Minister, Reza Ardakanian referred to the Eurasian leaders' summit which will be held in early October, saying, "The summit of the head of the states of Eurasian agreement will be held in Yerevan, Armenia and our President Hassan Rouhani has been invited to participate in this meeting and it's a good starting point for the full-size involvement of the country's different sectors, especially private sectors in Eurasian agreement."

The Eurasian agreement with Iran is a forum which aims to lessen the impact of sanctions and develop the Iranian economy, above all, industrial, agricultural, and other producers will have access to this market which creates job opportunities for many people.

The energy minister Reza Ardakanian earlier said that the prime minister of Armenia has invited the Iranian president to join Eurasian Countries' leaders, which includes Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kirghizstan and Belarus.

The Energy Minister went on to say that the Eurasian economic agreement is practically the very first one in its kind which is a multilateral economic agreement, in which Iran is trying to be involved in.

"I think if we look at the current situation in terms of economic sanctions, and the market which is a good market for Iranians, which is worth 200 million dollars, as well as potentials in Iran in different sectors, including, agriculture, industries, and etc, which has a direct relation with the rate of employment, this is an opportunity which we will use and in 60 days, starting from a week ago, we have been trying to be prepared for it," he continued.

On June 10, via a phone call, the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan invited Rouhani to attend the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Summit in Yerevan on October 1.
