Iran's Navy Commander Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi who attended the unveiling ceremony of the aircraft said that Chakavak is a single-engine plane with two seats.

Iran PressIran news: Three intelligence-training super-light aircrafts 'Chakavak' joined the Islamic Republic of Iran's Navy in Bandar Abbas, southern Iran.

"Chakavak is of a velocity of 280 km/m, rising 14,000 feet over the sea level with flight power of 4 hours and a half," Admiral Khanzadi said, Iran Press reported.

The Iranian navy commander asserted that the aircraft has been made by Iranian experts, noting that manufacturing each Chakavak saves 195,000 euros for the country.
