Iran Press/Iran news: Giving Speech at the press conference of the 32th round of Islamic Unity conference in Tehran on Saturday, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki congratulated Muslims on the arrival of Unity week, and the birthday anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (blessings of God upon him and his progeny).
Turning to the arrogant world powers, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki said: "If the arrogant world powers, led by the United States of America, try to form a front against the Iranian nation, we are seeing today that politicians, religious leaders, and media personalities have gathered here from all over the world, from 100 countries, to announce the formation of a freedom-seeking front, with the Islamic Republic of Iran as one of its principal leaders," Iran Press reported.
Ayatollah Araki added: "This is a strong slap in the face for the arrogant world powers. This conference will make it clear to all that the Islamic republic of Iran is the main driving force behind a powerful global movement which will tackle the enemies head-on. The fact that 100 countries are attending this conference, effectively means that America's efforts to isolate Iran and to sanction Iran have failed."
The secretary general of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought added: "The institutions of the arrogant powers are collapsing. One such 'institution' is the Zionist regime. The resistance of the Palestinians of the Gaza strip, brought a big political defeat for the Zionists, with deep divisions and resignations quite evident in Zionist politics."

Turning to the Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran, Ayatollah Araki said: "The principal themes of this years conference is defense of Palestinian and Yemeni peoples. Comments made by many of our Palestinian brothers and sisters on the internet and cyberspace indicate that the issues of Yemen and Palestine are closely tied. The Yemeni and Palestinian fronts are closely linked and this conference represents the start of victory on both of those fronts." 101/211
