Tehran (IP) - Iran's Election Headquarters Spokesman said 250 polling stations across the world have been considered for Iranians abroad to cast their ballots.

Iran Press/Iran news: Mohsen Eslami in a news presser on Monday said that the voting time, will last for 10 hours but the Interior Ministery will be in charge of any probable extension of time.

He continued: "According to the law, the birth certificate or national card must be presented by the voters.

"Referring to holding Presidential elections abroad, Mohsen Eslami said: "250 polling stations across the world have been considered for Iranians abroad to cast their ballots.

"He further noted: Our recommendation is for voters to attend the polling stations with national ID cards.

Expatriates can vote using their identification cards or valid passports, he said.

Eslami stated that the candidates' campaign will end at 8 am on Thursday, adding that all items and equipment have been sent all over the country and abroad.

He pointed out that in every polling station, 7 people are present in charge of observing the voting process.
