Tehran (IP) - Eid al-Fitr prayers will be held tomorrow morning (Saturday) throughout Iran and in Tehran under the leadership of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Tehran Grand Mosalla.

Iran PressIran news: The Grand Mosalla Mosque of Tehran, also known as the Imam Khomeini Mosalla, is a mosque in Tehran, Iran. It is used for hosting weekly Friday prayer, as well as cultural, political, educational, and worship activities, including book fairs, exhibitions, and religious ceremonies.

 Iran's Eid al-Fitr prayer headquarters announced: "The doors of the Grand Mosalla Mosque of Tehran will be opened to the worshipers from the call to prayer tomorrow morning."

The last Eid al-Fitr prayer was held under the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in 2018.

According to the office of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, today is Friday corresponding to the 30th of Ramadan 1444 AH and tomorrow is Saturday, Eid al-Fitr.

A number of Islamic countries, including Iraq, Oman, and Pakistan, also announced Saturday as Eid al-Fitr after the Shawwal crescent was not seen.

Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Syria, UAE and Türkiye, Egypt, Kuwait, Yemen, Palestine, Lebanon, and Jordan announced Friday as the first of Shawwal and the day of Eid al-Fitr.
