Iran Press/Asia: Ali Bagheri Kani, Iranian Acting FM on his X account announced that in answer to calls from Jordanian and Egyptian counterparts consultations have been done on Saturday evening for the second time in the past 48 hours.
The three sides agreed on the continuation of consultations among the regional countries to bring about peace to the region, Kani said.
Meanwhile, On Sunday Iranian Acting FM will Host Jordan’s Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ayman Safadi in Tehran for further consultations.
Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi's visit to Iran on Sunday comes after heightened regional tensions after the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran last week.
