Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian Intelligence Ministry announced on Monday that a gang of economic saboteurs including economic corrupters and abusers of governmental currency was dismantled in western Iran.
According to Intelligence Ministry statement, in a complicated and timely information operation, the intelligence forces of Kurdestan arrested 11 corrupters and dismantled their gang, Iran Press reported.
The saboteur gang has invested 4,700 billion Toman (over €15m) currencies in foreign countries on the pretext of importing essential goods.
On Oct. 14, Iran's Judiciary spokesman, Gholam Hossein Mohseni Eje'i warned all those who operate illegally in the foreign currency market and said: "If arrested, the sentences are definite and there will be no suspended sentences."

They have received the mentioned amount of currency by using commercial cards of the fake companies and by taking advantage of bribery.
On Aug. 12, in response to a letter by Head of the Judiciary Branch, seeking permission to take special measures in order to confront economic corruption, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei approved the request and wrote: “Punishment of those convicted of economic corruption must be carried out urgently and justly; and courts of law need meticulous care and attention when handing out sentences to convicts.” 105/201
