Iran Press/ Iran News: Iran's Speaker of the Parliament Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf was welcomed by the Leader's Representative in Tabriz and the governor of East Azarbaijan and a group of other local officials and representatives of this province at the Shahid Madani International Airport in Tabriz.
Upon his arrival at Shahid Madani Airport in Tabriz, Iran's speaker of The Parliament said in the presence of reporters:
"The first visit of the headquarters to East Azarbaijan province was successfully done in the new year and on the eve of the formulation of the seventh development plan. This is important while in the new year, the issue of production and inflation control is considered one of the important priorities of the economy.
Qalibaf added: "Surveys show that East Azarbaijan province is considered one of the driving provinces in various aspects of the economic field, including agriculture, animal husbandry, industry, mines, tourism, and most importantly, benefiting from entrepreneurial and experienced forces in the field of trade and production."
He also said: "Based on this, a detailed examination of the conditions in this opportunity, along with a visit to the factories of the province, as well as projects that play a key role in the field of industry and in supplying the needs of raw materials, but have been delayed for years, can have an impact on the seventh development plan."
The head of Iran's legislative body stated: "Undoubtedly, East Azarbaijan province is one of the hopes of transformation in the economic field.
Qalibaf is going to visit the textile production unit in Sarab city and the implementation of the alumina production plan from the Nepheline syenite of this city.
Visiting the sugar factory in Ahar City and giving a speech at the construction and investment meeting of Kaleybar City are other plans for Qalibaf during this trip.
